![]() I do own the game though so it's not exactly "warez". Is it not allowed to own the game AND use it in any way you see fit, including extracting the data to play in an emulator? I understand that in some countries, even that isn't allowed and it's a bit of a grey area. Quote: I saw you closed my thread, bit of a bummer. For anyone wondering what I've sent to the admin, I'll post it below since it clarifies a couple things. I would like to request for my thread to be reopened. I understand the issue and have been an admin (and currently am) and I know it's not always the easiest job (some people.). I might be a bit too impatient since I only messaged him yesterday, but he has been active recently so a short reply would've been appreciated.Īgain, no harm done. I do in fact own the game and messaged the admin about it, but have yet to receive a reply. No issues there really, he didn't do a bad job considering the majority of emulator users do pirate.Īnyhow, my copy in particular was not illegal. My thread in the Linux PCSX2 Support was recently closed after an admin found out that I was using an iso, probably assuming it was pirated. ![]() Help would be appreciated - I've even tried ultra blending accuracy on OGL to no avail along with countless other options I've messed with.Įdit: Unless somebody says SW mode is the only option, I'd rather not play at native resolution with semi-minor slowdown The car's colour on software mode can change for no apparent reason, but other than that the game's basically perfect. Now, compare that to software mode and it's a far better result, albeit at native. I'm playing that at a resolution of 1920x1080, approx. Text is illegible without SW mode, text is legible at native on HW mode however. This is the startup screen (things like memory card formatting, name entry etc). ![]() Once you start moving the bugs get much worse, with textures like on the car occupying the rest of the place, like on the roads and paths. I've tried hardware hacks and safer presets but to no avail. ![]() I tried with the latest git version of 1.5.0 and this fixed the background buildings having warped textures, however the game remains unplayable. Distorted visuals everywhere makes the game nightmarish to play, however software mode whilst slow is playable. I boot up PCSX2 1.4.0 to find the horrors that are the graphical bugs.ĭriver 3, or Driv3r, is unplayable in Hardware mode on both OpenGL and D3D11. So recently, I decided to try Driv3r on PCSX2. ![]()
